Sustainable fresh produce transportation for Spar Handels AG
We have been working in partnership with Spar Handels AG in the area of fresh produce logistics since 2016. Step by step, vehicle solutions have been developed that are precisely tailored to the high demands of daily goods transportation.
The latest project adds another highlight to the fleet: a modern refrigerated body on a CNG-powered Scania truck running on 100% biogas. The vehicle marks the next milestone in the joint development towards fossil-free transport solutions.
The vehicle combines ecological responsibility with practical functionality: the body offers space for 23 pallets and is equipped with a lifting platform for efficient loading and unloading processes. The vehicle also scores points with reduced noise, lower emissions and stable energy costs.
"In 2025, we were able to order a contract for nine refrigeration units ranging from 4x2 to 6x2/4 and city trailers, which were delivered on time.
